D-Line Memorial, Y3, with Agostino Nickl, Heiko Lubs, Max Pape. Tutors: Prof. Joachim Ganzert, Prof. Alexander Furche, Renko Steffen. Design proposal for an abandoned subway station in Hanover. Since its completion in the 60ies the station never went into operation because of miscalculation. The bare concrete structure is an ideal site for the design proposal: A memorial and exhibition space for architectonical misplannings. A suspended steel pathway that is not touching the raw concrete structure will be installed. Its shape is influenced by the directions of the planned subway routes. When the exhibition is closed, the roof structure can be used as a bench or urban stage.
